🌟 Be Intentional So Others Notice! 🦬💖 🌟 Today at Evergreen STEM Elementary, fourth-grade students and teachers came together to celebrate Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) in an inspiring way! 🎉 Evergreen fourth graders have been embracing SEL practices all year, using the bison as their symbol—"Be Intentional So Others Notice." From managing emotions to working together and showing kindness, students have been learning skills that will help them grow into compassionate and resilient individuals. As part of this initiative, fourth-grade teachers teamed up with Kim Gameroz of Selebrate Good Times to take on an SEL challenge, raising awareness about the importance of emotional intelligence in education. 💕 📸 Check the group photo in front of the bison mural—a daily reminder for students to be intentional and make a difference! Thank you to our dedicated fourth-grade team—Ms. Johnson, Ms. Ammons, and Ms. Crandall, who dressed in their pink bison T-shirt to demonstrated their commitment to fostering a culture of care and connection—for leading this important work, and to everyone who helped make this event a success! 💙 #BeIntentional #WeAreBison #SELMatters #EvergreenSTEMElementary

🚨 School Closure Alert 🚨 Due to adverse road conditions, all Sedro-Woolley School District schools are closed today, February 6, 2025. This includes the cancellation of all field trips, after-school activities, and meetings scheduled for the day. 🚨 Road Conditions 🚨 Our transportation crews have been out early this morning evaluating roads across our 395-square-mile district, and many of our routes remain unsafe for travel. While roads in some neighborhoods may seem passable, that’s not the case everywhere in our district. We appreciate your understanding as we prioritize the safety of our students and staff. Thank you to our crews for braving the conditions to assess the roads, and to our community for your patience and support! ❄️ Stay Safe & Help Keep Walkways Clear ❄️ We encourage families to stay safe and warm. If you live within a mile of our schools, please consider clearing sidewalks to help ensure a safe path for students walking to school tomorrow. With temperatures staying low, the snow won’t be melting on its own—your help is greatly appreciated! Thank you for your support, and stay safe! 💙❄️🚍
