Sedro-Woolley High School Drama invites the community to experience Stargirl, a thoughtful and heartfelt stage adaptation based on the novel by Jerry Spinelli.

The story follows junior Leo Borlock, whose world is turned upside down when a new student—Stargirl—arrives at school. Kind, eccentric, and unapologetically herself, Stargirl challenges the unspoken rules of conformity and forces Leo to confront a difficult choice: blend in with his peers or embrace individuality and authenticity. The play explores themes of kindness, courage, and what it truly means to belong.
