The Sedro-Woolley School District will again be hosting "Reading & Resources on the Field" from 6–7:30 p.m., August 24 on the field between Cascade Middle School and the Sedro-Woolley Boys & Girls Club. There will be backpacks stuffed with school supplies from Inspire Church, a Scholastic book fair hosted by the Evergreen Parent Group where families can purchase affordable books, a bevy of vehicles from the City of Sedro-Woolley's fleet, as well as information and resources from many local organizations such as Skagit Transit and the Central Skagit Library. Mary Purcell's Parent Group will have concessions available! Sedro-Woolley's Boys & Girls Club will also have fun activities set up for those in attendance! For more information, email swsdcoms@swsd101.org.

The Stars and Stripes was adopted by the Continental Congress on June 14, 1777. Flag Day is a day for patriotic observances.

June is a month to celebrate the natural beauty of the outdoors and renew our commitment to protect our environment. We appreciate all of the rangers and park employees whose dedication keeps our open spaces beautiful and accessible to all.
