Mandatory graduation practice is at 9 a.m. in the stadium, with clothing/gown check in the gymnasium at 6 p.m. The ceremony starts at 7 p.m. in the stadium, with seniors expected to depart for the special graduation night trip at around 9:30 p.m.

ZOEY BACUS has been named May Student of the Month for the Rotary Club of Sedro-Woolley. She is the daughter of Stacy Bacus of Sedro-Woolley. Zoey maintains a 3.8 GPA while being actively involved in Sedro-Woolley High School. She has participated in Varsity Soccer all 4 years of high school, lettering each year, as well as holding the title of Team Captain 2 years in a row. She is a 2-year member of the National Honor Society. Zoey is currently enrolled in Northwest Career and Technical Academy for the medical science program, and upon completion, she will be a Certified Nursing Assistant. Outside of school, Zoey enjoys spending time with her friends and family, playing soccer, being outside, and going to the lake. Zoey has previously worked at Tulip Town. After graduation, Zoey plans to continue her education at Pacific Lutheran University. Her end game is to become a Registered Nurse. Congratulations Zoey!

Gibson maintains a 3.3 GPA while being actively involved in Sedro-Woolley High School. He has participated in baseball, basketball, tennis, and unified basketball. He has lettered 4 times in baseball, 3 times in tennis, and twice in basketball. Gibson was awarded Athlete of the Week by the Skagit Valley Herald for baseball. Gibson is a member of our Fellowship of Christian Athletes Club and is currently attending Northwest Career & Technical Academy part time, where he is studying the basics of firefighting. Outside of school, Gibson enjoys hanging out with friends and family, playing ping pong, working out at the gym, training for baseball and camping. He currently holds a delivery driving position at Cascade Pizza and volunteers his free time for our Sedro-Woolley Little League, as an Umpire. After graduation, Gibson will be attending Skagit Valley College to play baseball, and will study fire science. He hopes to work for the Mount Vernon Fire Department upon graduating from SVC.
