The Sedro-Woolley School District is proud to honor Danny Crosby as the Sedro-Woolley High School Outstanding Employee of the Year. In a challenging year marked by staffing shortages, Danny, the Campus Safety professional at Sedro-Woolley High School, has taken on extra duties with enthusiasm and commitment.
Every day, Danny greets students with a bright smile and words of encouragement, ensuring that everyone feels safe, welcome and seen. His positive energy and kind demeanor not only keep our campus running smoothly but also serve as an inspiration to both staff and students. Danny’s ability to handle difficult situations with respect and empathy is a true testament to his leadership on campus.
Beyond his essential role in Campus Safety, Danny is a key asset to our administrative team. He is always ready to assist in any situation, and his contributions extend to serving as co-advisor to our Teen Court and as an enthusiastic supporter of our Cub athletes. His willingness to step up and tackle additional responsibilities truly makes him the MVP of our school.
Thank you, Danny, for showing up every day and exemplifying what it means to be a Cub through and through!

🎶✨ Music in the Making! ✨🎶
Today, the SWHS Orchestra brought the magic of music to Samish and Evergreen elementary schools! Under the direction of Poul Brask, high school musicians performed The Lord, The Lady, and The Jester and introduced students to a variety of instruments. 🎻🎺🎶
To show how powerful music can be, the orchestra also played famous movie themes—because, as Mr. Brask says, movies wouldn’t be the same without music! 🎥🎼
Did you know? Students can join orchestra in sixth grade at Cascade Middle School. It’s a zero-hour class for sixth graders, meaning students start their day with music before elementary school begins. Who’s ready to pick up an instrument and join the fun? 🎵💙 #SWHSOrchestra #FutureMusicians #MusicMatters
