Cheyanne, a senior at Sedro-Woolley High School, enjoys hiking, spending time with friends and family, and playing with her three dogs. Her favorite recent adventure was hiking in the Rocky Mountains! 🏔️🐕
🔧 CTE classes at SWHS have opened Cheyanne’s eyes to new career possibilities. Inspired by welding classes with her favorite teacher, Mr. Goss, she’s considering either pursuing business and accounting in college or becoming a certified welder at a trade school.

Carin, a senior at Sedro-Woolley High School, loves spending time with family, cooking, baking, and riding horses. 🐎🍪 She is Secretary of the SWHS FFA and has been a Girl Scout for 10 years.
🌱 CTE classes at SWHS have guided Carin to dive deeper into fields of interest, applying her knowledge toward future goals. After graduation, she plans to attend Washington State University to pursue a Doctorate in veterinary medicine.

Mason, a senior at Sedro-Woolley High School, enjoys time with family and friends, playing piano, snowboarding, and spending time with his puppy, Howie. 🐾🎹 Over the years, Mason has played football, basketball, and track and field, while being involved in Teen Court Club, National Honor Society, and umpiring for Sedro-Woolley Little League, earning 40+ hours of community service.
🛠️ CTE classes at SWHS have equipped Mason with essential skills like leadership, time management, and critical thinking. After high school, he plans to attend a four-year university to earn a Bachelor's degree and pursue a career in law.

🎉 Abby Gardner is the Sedro-Woolley Soroptimist Student of the Month for October 2024!
Abby, a senior at Sedro-Woolley High School, is all about volleyball! She has played on the Varsity Volleyball team for four years, lettered every season, and has participated in nine club volleyball seasons. She also referees middle school volleyball, is the Senior Class President, National Honor Society Co-President, and works at Starbucks, where she connects with the community through coffee. ☕🏐
🌟 CTE classes at SWHS have allowed Abby to explore various career paths, ultimately leading her to pursue animal science. After graduation, she plans to attend Colorado State University to major in Biology and eventually enter the veterinary field.

Landon, a senior at Sedro-Woolley High School, loves playing music and spending time with family and friends. As the owner of a videography business, Landon has created wedding videos, promos for small businesses, and sports coverage for SWHS. He serves as ASB President, is active in Orchestra, Jazz Band, Track and Field, and Cross Country, and held the role of Class President from his freshman to his junior year.
🎥 CTE classes at SWHS have been instrumental in helping Landon refine his passion for video production and media. He plans to attend a college with a strong media program and dreams of producing promos for college sports and businesses.

🎉 Carla Jimenez-Nava is the Sedro-Woolley Soroptimist Student of the Month for November 2024!
Carla, a senior at Sedro-Woolley High School, enjoys spending time with family and watching movies. At school, she is the Cultural Ambassador for ASB, Secretary for Latinos in Action, Social Media Manager for National Honor Society and Club Diversity, and Yearbook Editor. Carla is also part of the C.A.M.P. club, plays basketball and tennis, and continues to inspire as an active member of her community.
📚 CTE classes at SWHS have fueled Carla's passion for design and marketing, leading her to pursue a career as a graphic designer. After graduation, Carla plans to attend a four-year university to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Visual Communications and Design.

Landon Steele has been named October Rotary Student of the Month. He is the son of Jesse and Jessica Steele of Sedro-Woolley.
Landon maintains a 3.8 GPA while being actively involved in Sedro-Woolley High School. He has been Class President every year, and is our current ASB President. He has participated in Varsity Cross Country and Varsity Track all four years, as well as playing bass in Orchestra all four years and Advanced Orchestra for three years. Landon has also participated in our Jazz Band for four years. He has taken many honors classes over his high school career including AP Human Geography, AP US History and AP Language Arts.
Outside of school, Landon owns his own videography business. He has shot several weddings and promos for small businesses, as well as sporting events for SWHS. Landon was hired by our very own Steelclaw Wrestling Club to film the wrestling season making hype reels to boost the program. In Landon’s free time, he enjoys playing music, and spending time with family and friends.
After graduation, Landon plans to attend a college with a great video production and media program. He hopes to continue making promos for college sporting events and local small businesses, to find his niche. Congratulations Landon!
Sativia Espinoza has been named as an October Rotary Student of the Month. She is the daughter of Kearsey Molish of Sedro-Woolley.
Sativia maintains a 4.0 GPA while being actively involved in Sedro-Woolley High School. She has participated in Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) for three years, and is the current President, as well as participating in National Honor Society for two years, Varsity in Volunteerism for two years, and STEAM Club this year. Sativia has been in the UW Trio Program for six years. She is on Honor Roll and has currently earned 7 Department Awards including awards for Math, Social Studies, Science, Business, English and ASL.
Outside of school, Sativia enjoys maintaining and building trails with the Skagit Trailblazers Club. She is also a member of Youth for Environment People (YEP). This organization teaches elementary level students about forestry and forest life cycles. Sativia currently works at the local Bigfoot’s Den restaurant as a server.
After graduation, Sativia plans on obtaining an engineering degree or an environmental degree. Congratulations Sativia!
