✨ Community Partnership Supporting Students ✨
Yesterday, Sedro-Woolley Rotarians delivered easy-to-cook snack foods to State Street High School and Sedro-Woolley High School as part of the club’s youth outreach efforts. Their goal is simple and deeply appreciated: make sure students know they are supported and have access to something to eat when they need it.

At State Street High School, Principal Dr. Carly Boyd has been purchasing food herself to assist students who arrive hungry or need a boost to get through the day. Rotary’s contribution to her office pantry expands what she can offer—because we all know that fed students are better able to learn.

At Sedro-Woolley High School, most of the donated food was placed near the front doors so students can easily grab something on their way in or on their way home. Items like mac and cheese cups, noodles, granola bars, and protein-packed snacks provide a quick, simple option for students who may have missed breakfast or may not have food available at home later.

💙 Rotary welcomes community involvement.
If others would like to help, the pantry at SWHS—located just outside the main entrance—is easy to access and stock. Easy-to-prepare food items are especially helpful. For State Street, community donations can be made during school hours by ringing the buzzer on the front door. (We also heard that students LOVE instant hot chocolate packets right now during the cold days of winter! )

We are grateful for the Sedro-Woolley Rotary Club’s continued support of our students. Partnerships like these make a meaningful difference for students and families across our district. 💙🤍

💙🐾 Good Luck, Sedro-Woolley Cubs! 🐾💙

One of the very best things about our little hyphenated city is how this community shows up for its kids. Over the past few weeks, you can feel the pride everywhere you go—reader boards shining good-luck messages across town, blue-and-white lights glowing from a home near the high school, and even local businesses stepping up so every student could attend last week’s playoff game.

This week, Sedro-Woolley Rotary even broke into the high school alma mater during their Thursday lunch meeting, hoping a little hometown harmony might send some extra luck the Cubs’ way.

It’s all a reminder of what makes this place special: Friday Night Lights isn’t just a phrase here—it’s part of who we are. From local first responders cheering in the end zone, to the Sedro-Woolley Firefighters working the chains on the sidelines, to the Senior Parent Group keeping everyone fed—our athletes never take the field alone. They carry an entire town with them.

Tomorrow, our Cubs face O’Dea High School in the state playoffs—and once again, we’re asking Sedro-Woolley to show up big.

🚌 The send-off bus leaves SWHS at 9:00 a.m.
Route: North on Third ➝ West on State ➝ North on Metcalf ➝ West on Ferry ➝ out to Cook Road

Line the streets. Wear your Cub Blue. Bring your signs, your cheers, your kids, your neighbors—bring the whole dang town. Let’s wrap these players and coaches in all the love, pride, and support they deserve.

Let’s show them what Sedro-Woolley spirit looks like. LET’S GO CUBS! 💙🐾💙
