Several Sedro-Woolley School District staff email accounts were recently compromised, and fraudulent emails containing links may have been sent from those accounts to current and former families, community members and other contacts.
Because the messages were sent from legitimate staff email addresses, they may appear to be real.
If you receive an unexpected or unusual email from a district staff member, please do not click on links, open attachments, make purchases or provide personal or financial information.
If you received a suspicious message but did not click anything, report it as spam or phishing and delete it.
If you clicked a link and entered a username or password, change that password immediately. If you provided banking or credit card information or made a purchase, contact your bank or credit card company immediately and report it as potential fraud.
When in doubt, verify the message before responding or clicking anything. You can contact the staff member through the contact form available on the staff directory (available on each school's page by clicking on "Menu" then "Staff". Do not reply to the suspicious email or use contact information or links contained within it.

Tonight, Samish Elementary celebrated the official ribbon-cutting of a new tire swing! 🛞✨
And what makes this new playground addition extra special? Two former Samish students, Kaylee C. and Sadie B., came back to school tonight to finish what they started as ASB officers!
As students, Kaylee and Sadie helped champion the idea of bringing a tire swing to Samish. Now, years later, they returned to cut the ribbon and see their vision become a reality. ❤️
What a wonderful reminder that former students are always a part of the Bruins family! We’re so grateful to Kaylee and Sadie for coming back to celebrate this special moment with our students and staff.
