Sixth graders at Mary Purcell Elementary School wowed their classmates and teachers this week with their incredible Mesopotamia projects!

Students in Elise Cleeland-Roberson and Stacie Quatsoe’s classes built detailed models and dioramas showcasing the world’s first civilization — and they absolutely knocked it out of the park.

Hands-on history at its finest! 💫📚

🦉 Sixth graders in Mrs. Quatsoe’s class at Mary Purcell Elementary got hands-on with science this week — dissecting owl pellets to uncover what’s inside!

Mrs. Quatsoe collected the pellets herself to make sure every student had one to explore. Inside, students discovered fur, bones, and other remains from small rodents the owls had eaten, digested, and… well… left behind.

Science doesn’t get much more memorable (or fascinating) than this! 🔬✨
