As America approaches its 250th birthday, it's a great time to talk with children about civic responsibility and community service.

Events like our very own Fourth of July Loggerodeo, Footrace, and Rodeo happen because volunteers dedicate countless hours to making them successful.

History isn't just about the past. It's about the people who continue building our community today.

Applications Now Open for Good Beginnings ECEAP Preschool!

Do you have a child who will be 3 or 4 years old for the 2026–27 school year? Good Beginnings Preschool is excited to offer ECEAP (Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program), a free, high-quality preschool program for eligible families.

ECEAP helps children build a strong foundation for kindergarten and beyond through:
• Social-emotional learning
• Early literacy and math skills
• Hands-on exploration and play
• Learning opportunities led by certified teachers

To help determine eligibility and placement options, families are asked to complete a Preschool Interest Form. The form includes questions about your child's age, preschool experience, family size and income, languages spoken at home, and any developmental, educational, or support services your child may receive or need.

Families with children who have an IEP, have received early intervention services, are in foster or kinship care, are members of a Tribal Sovereign Nation, or are experiencing housing instability are encouraged to apply.

Complete the interest form here:
