Everything You Need to Know Before the First Day of School
A new school year is just around the corner, and we're excited to welcome students and families back!
Whether you're returning to our school or joining us for the first time, we've gathered the most important information in one place to help your family get ready for a successful start to the school year.
📅 First Day of School
Grades 1–12: September 1
Kindergarten: September 4
Transition to Kindergarten: October 1
🏫 School Hours
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays
School starts at 9:25 a.m. Doors typically open between 9:10 a.m. and 9:15 a.m. Students are released at 3:30 p.m. See below for the early dismissal schedule.
Wednesdays
All schools in the district start one hour late on Wednesdays so that staff can receive professional development. Exceptions are holidays/non-school days and early dismissal days on November 25 and June 9.

🏫 Central Elementary School families are invited to Open House on August 26 from 6–7 p.m. We look forward to welcoming students and families before the first day of school.
🚌 Transportation
If your transportation needs have changed or your student is new to the district, please complete the Transportation Form as soon as possible.
🍎 Breakfast & Lunch
Breakfast and lunch are available for students.
