    DOL Knowledge (Written) Exams are $45.00

    Please bring your permit. It is required to test.
    Pre-Pay for exam online or at the ASB Office (Online Payment Directions)
    Must have a WA Permit or WA ID # to register
    NO Permit or ID card? Go to dol.wa.gov to pre-apply(bring printed confirmation to exam)
    Must bring a WA Permit or WA ID for exam testing (or permit # if you are taking the test to get one)
     
    * If your student needs accommodation to have the written exam read, an appointment is needed. You must pay a fee before you can schedule appt.
     
    Testing Location: Student Service Building (SSB) 317 Yellow Lane (Off of Cook Road)
     
    Registration: your registration is complete with online payment
     
    2023-23 Testing Dates:  (Check-in between 5:45-6:15 PM. Students will have as long as needed to complete the exam.)

    Send a copy of your receipt and permit to the examiner who you would like to make an appointment with. Click on their names below to be directed to their Remind pages. The Driver's Ed Department uses the Remind App to communicate.
