Welcome to Samish Elementary School
Samish Elementary, located five miles north of Sedro-Woolley on State Highway 9, is a K-6 school of approximately 185 students housed in 7 classrooms. The facility was upgraded in 1992 with the construction of a building which contains an office area, library, kitchen, gymnasium, and two classrooms. In 1998, a separate building was constructed containing four classrooms and a counselor’s office.Situated on approximately 25 acres, Samish also boasts a nature trail and nature study area available for use by students and staff, and is accessible to the public. An additional playfield is currently under development. A new walking path was recently added and is used daily by staff and students during PE classes and recess.
