Here you'll find the many local scholarships that SWHS seniors receive EVERY year, as well as some good state and national ones. Scholarships will be listed here in order of their due date.
Start with LOCAL scholarships - less competition!
More LOCAL scholarship forms will start coming out in December – but now is the time to focus on your college applications and make sure you've signed up for any applicable tests you need to take for admission. Whether it be the ACT (www.actstudent.org) or SAT (www.collegeboard.org) for 4-year colleges or the Accuplacer for Skagit Valley College and Bellingham Technical College and other community and technical colleges, this is the time to get these out of the way.

Skagit Valley College - Cardinal STEM Scholars Program
Local - The Cardinal STEM Scholars Program (CSSP) provides scholarships and support to qualified students with financial need at Skagit Valley College who are pursuing transfer degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). Scholarship awards, up to $5700 per year, and a STEM fellowship experience are key components of the Cardinal STEM Scholars Program. Apply Online

WSU- Balanced Man Scholarship
State - Are you a Washington State University male student who believes in the ideals of having a Sound Mind and Sound Body? Are you looking for a scholarship that recognizes your achievements inside and outside of the classroom? Sigma Phi Epsilon is offering $4,000 for the Balanced Man Scholarship. The ACT College and Career Readiness Student Champion is tenacious and persistent, no matter the challenge, and is prepared for life after high school with a goal in mind and plan in place.
