• Annual Notification for Highly Capable Program Identification

    Sedro-Woolley School District

    The Sedro-Woolley School District offers a Highly Capable Program for exceptionally advanced learners in grades K-12.  We are now accepting referrals for the 2021-2022 school year.

    Referrals will be accepted for students currently in Kindergarten through 11th grade. Referral packets may be obtained from individual building secretaries, the District Office, or the Sedro-Woolley School District website beginning February 2021, by March 31, 2021.

    Assessments are scheduled to begin in the spring of 2021. Students meeting the screening criteria will be assessed by multiple measures to determine eligibility for program services.

    The Multi-Disciplinary Selection Committee (MSC) screens all referrals and makes the final decision for placement in the Highly Capable Program.

    School offices will also have referral forms available in Spanish and Russian if needed.
