We have two students at Central with limited English, a 3rd grade boy and a 5th grade girl, along with many other students that are qualified ELL. Let me know if you want to help.
SWHS VOLLEYBALLWe are needing 4 people to consistently do line judging for jv and c volleyball home matches. The responsibility of a line judge is to stand at the end of the service line and rule the balls in or out. I will explain the rules and show how that looks in person, but it is very easy to do at the jv and c level. They would need to arrive at the gym by 5:20 and lasts about 2 hours. Let Mr. Johns know if you are interested.Tues 9/24Tues 10/1Wed 10/2Thurs 10/10Wed 10/16Thurs 10/24Tue 10/29

Children of the Valley After School Program
Children of the Valley is a faith-based independent 501c3 that serves 55 low-income children in the Mount Vernon schools who are most in need. This is not a drop-in program. Instead, we provide structured, intentional mentoring and academic support with the help of educated and committed volunteers and trained staff. We continually serve students and their families as they progress through elementary and middle school. COV has been in existence for 12 years and maintains a strong partnership with Mount Vernon School District.
