    THE THREE/FOUR YEAR OLD'S

       The three & four- year olds are working on pre-academic (cognitive), social, fine motor, gross motor, communication and adaptive skills. Our goals are to work on their specific IEP objectives, age appropriate skills and preparing them for Kindergarten. I use curriculum from several arenas: Open Court reading, AEPS activities, Calendar Math and Math Their Way. I teach age appropriate concepts using a thematic and storybook approach. Lisa Davis is my para-professional in the AM classroom.  My additional team members are: Elizabeth Stout & Jen Lamonica (SLP's), Amanda Voorhees (Occupational therapist), Debbie Needham (para for motor therapist), Becky Goodell (Physical therapist) and Tina Sager (Physical therapist assistant). 
       In the afternoon I work with our community partners (Head Start, Upper Skagit, North Cascade and Y-Central preschool) and provide homebase services for B-2 year olds. I provide support for our students who are receiving special services in those community programs.
