    Sedro-Woolley School District is partnering with Cascades Job Corps to offer Connections Academy High School for students attending the Cascades Job Corps program. Those student who have not yet earned their high school diploma are eligible to enroll at Connections Academy. We are located on the SWIFT center and housed on the bottom level of Evergreen House on the Cascades Job Corps Campus.

    Connections Academy provides a flexible, customized learning pathway for each and every student who enters the high school.  We are an open doors program that abides by the Washignton State graduation requirements. We have a blended learning environment which includes traditional high school classes, digital online coursework, independent coursework, mastery learning, and/or project based learning.

    Who is Eligible?
    • Students who are enrolled with Cascades Job Corps
    • Students who have not earned a High School Diploma
    • Students who are between 16 and 21 years of age (by Sept 1)
    • Students who want to earn a SWSD High School Diploma
    • Students who want to take GED prep classes and earn a GED

    Our District serves the communities of Sedro-Woolley, Big Lake, Clear Lake, Lyman, Hamilton, and Samish.  We are located in the Skagit Valley, 60 miles north of Seattle, just off Interstate 5.  We are a diverse district, with several pre-k schools, seven K-6 elementary schools, one middle school, one traditional high school, one alternative high school and our Connections Academy at Job Corps.  We serve approximately four thousand three hundred eighty-five (4,385) students.
