Our Mission:
It is our focus to help Lyman students gain knowledge and skills enabling them to develop creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving strategies, contributing to their future success.Our Vision:Lyman Elementary strives every day to provide a safe, supportive environment that recognizes the diversity of students and the uniqueness of the Lyman community.The Lyman staff is dedicated to making decisions that ensure opportunities for the academic, social, and personal growth of each student. By working with parents and community, we strive for excellence by linking our curricular goals, standards, and assessment procedures to the Essential Learning of Washington State.
Located approximately eight miles east of Sedro-Woolley, Lyman Elementary serves elementary students in the Lyman and Hamilton communities. Lyman staff and community members are committed to maintaining its "country school" atmosphere.
Sedro-Woolley School District encourages parents to be a part of their child's education by attending: Parent Group Meetings held the first Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at Lyman Elementary.

WELCOME TO THE SEDRO-WOOLLEY SCHOOL DISTRICT
Our District serves the communities of Sedro-Woolley, Big Lake, Clear Lake, Lyman, Hamilton, and Samish. We are located in the Skagit Valley, 60 miles north of Seattle, just off Interstate 5. We are a diverse district, with several pre-k schools, seven K-6 elementary schools, one middle school, one traditional high school, one alternative high school and our Connections Academy at Job Corps. We serve approximately four thousand three hundred eighty-five (4,385) students.
