• Hi, I am Emily Hilberdink and I am SO excited to be the Class of 2019 counselor!  I believe that life is short, so I try and make the most out of life by doing what I love and by surrounding myself with people I love.  I do adventure sports like mountain biking, kayaking, camping, and hiking.  I also love to learn, so I am always reading a book about something I want to learn more about.  I also love to travel and hope to do more international travel.

I grew up in Oak Harbor, WA on a farm, so I am a country girl at heart.  After I graduated from Oak Harbor High School I attended Skagit Valley College to earn my Associate of Arts degree and I worked at the same time.  Then I attended Western Washington University where I earned my bachelors in history/social studies and I got my teaching certificate as well.  I most recently earned my master’s degree in school counseling with Capella University.  I love being a school counselor!  I love meeting new people, learning about their life stories, and helping others.  I am so proud to be a CUB!
