Welcome

Hello

Welcome to the Sedro-Woolley School District website. On behalf of the district and school board, I wish to thank our entire Sedro-Woolley school community, especially our families, for all of your support this past school year!  Together, we have had a great school year. We added full-day kindergarten, increased support for student services, have a healthy budget, increased the number of national board certified staff, passed the Educational and Operations Levy and the Safety and Technology Levy. The levy support, as well as our new initiatives, will support all of our students academically and adds much needed safety and technology upgrades for the next four years.

Our school board also adopted the 2014-2015 Strategic Road Map that was created with the help of community members, families, students, staff, and school board members. As part of the Road Map, the school board members have reviewed and updated their 2014-2015 Board Goals. Communication is again one of the top goals for our district. To communicate your comments and ideas or if you have a question, the following email address has been created for easy access comments@swsd.k12.wa.us.

We highly value your support as we work together to ensure that we continue to be student focused and that we continue to provide high quality learning experiences for all of our students.  Our mission is to help “every student graduate with the knowledge and skills for future learning and success.”  When we work together our students will accomplish amazing things and will achieve at high levels.  As partners in education, we look forward to celebrating the future successes of our students with you and look forward to working with you in providing educational opportunities and high quality learning experiences for all of our students.
