• Class of 2018

Welcome to the Class of 2018 Scholarship Page!

This is the place especially for local scholarships, and some good state and national ones, too.  Scholarships will be listed here in order of their due date. Start with LOCAL scholarships first - less competition!

More LOCAL scholarship forms will start coming out in December – but now is the time to focus on your college applications and make sure you've signed up for any applicable tests you need to take for admission.  Whether it be the ACT (www.actstudent.org) or SAT (www.collegeboard.org) for 4-year colleges or the Accuplacer for Skagit Valley College and Bellingham Technical College and other community and technical colleges this is the time to get these out of the way.

  • Search for Scholarships

Haven't had enough? FINISHED applying for all of the above scholarships, including gathering transcripts and letters of recommendation? Parents asking, "Have you applied for EVERY scholarship that you can?"

Check out http://www.thewashboard.org/login.aspx - it's all Washington state scholarships.

STILL not enough? Try http://www.fastweb.com/- it's national.

Remember: Local, county-wide and regional scholarships are the best, because the competition base is smaller!

    Apply locally first!

Don't forget INSTITUTIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS - If you look on your colleges FINANCIAL AID page you'll find MANY scholarships specific to that school that many times require separate applications.  Don't miss out on these institutional opportunities.
