    Physical Education Discipline Plan Steps

Step 1:   Warning(s), may include verbal, visual and/or written

Step 2:   Teacher consequence or warning may include time-out, loss of recess, problem-solving, etc.

Step 3:   Teacher consequence may include focus room

“The purpose of a school discipline policy is to clarify the expectations, set goals, establish rights, and encourage self-development and individual responsibility.   Without a disciplined atmosphere, the teacher cannot teach effectively and the learner cannot learn.

The ultimate goal of a good discipline is self-discipline, which can only be achieved when there is a partnership between the home and the school…

    General Standards:

    • Treat everyone with respect
    • Follow directions
    • Do your best
    • Be responsible
    • Bring only school things to school
    • Be where your are expected to be
    • Be safe”
